A reception and dinner was held at Barons Court Castle on 13th May 2026 to celebrate the appointment of Sir Robert Scott KCVO OBE as a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order and to mark the occasion of the pending retirement of Sir Robert Scott KCVO OBE as Lord Lieutenant of County Tyrone

A painting was presented to Sir Robert Scott KCVO OBE by the Deputy Lieutenants of County Tyrone who had served under Sir Robert Scott KCVO OBE during his tenure as Lord Lieutenant to mark the occasion of his retirement as Lord Lieutenant of County Tyrone.
