HM Lord Lieutenant, Sir Robert Scott KCVO OBE, was delighted to present Youth Sport Omagh Chairman, Martin Conway, & Secretary, Sean Curneen, with their King’s Award for Voluntary Service on behalf of His Majesty The King tonight.

He was accompanied by Vice Lord Lieutenant, Mrs Frances Nolan MBE VLL & Deputy Lieutenants’ Mrs Kathy McHugh DL, Mrs Kim Ashton DL & Mr Graham Dodds MBE DL.

The Chairman of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Mr John McClaughry, was also present.

Youth Sport Omagh has been at the centre of cross community sporting activity and developments for three decades.

It’s volunteers have taken it from an empty bog land site to a prestigious and exceptional sporting facility that operates year round for the benefit of the whole community.
